One Day Poem Pavilion
The One Day Poem Pavilion is a master’s thesis project by Art Center College of Design’s Jiyeon Song. The piece uses natural light to project sections of a poem – a Sijo, to be precise, by Korean poet Kim Ch’on-taek (1725–1766) – onto the ground or whatever surface lies beneath. The entire poem is divided into sections with each section slowly materializing, line by line, based on the sun’s position in the sky at a given time of day. (via Kottke)
